UTEP offers 79 bachelor’s degrees, 86 master’s degrees and programs, and 16 doctorates—with more in the development stage.

The College of Business Administration prepares students for careers in accounting, economics, marketing and management, as well as finance, information and decision sciences. The college offers an online M.B.A. and a Ph.D. in international business. It also houses the Border Region Modeling Project and the Centers for Entrepreneurial Development, Advancement, Research and Support.

The College of Education shapes and prepares teachers, counselors, diagnosticians and school administrators. Undergraduate and graduate students are guided by a team of advisors from the colleges of education, liberal arts and science.

The College of Engineering has ranked consistently high for its graduate program for Hispanics. The collegehas been named a Model Institution for Excellence by the National Science Foundation.

The College of Health Sciences prepares community caregivers in a variety of fields, including pharmacy, social work, physical therapy and speechlanguage pathology. Graduate and undergraduate students have the opportunity to participate in health research and hands-on learning experiences that are unique to the border region.

The College of Liberal Arts provides students with undergraduate and graduate degree programs in everything from music theater and psychology to criminal justice and anthropology. The college supports centers and programs in Law and Border Studies, Inter-American and Border Studies, Civic Engagement and Law and Human Behavior.

The College of Science offers undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees in biology, chemistry, geology, mathematics and physics. The college houses the Border Biomedical Research Center, the Medical Professions Institute and the Minority Access to Research Careers programs.

The Graduate School helps students expand their professional and educational development at the master’s or doctorate level. The school offers 86 master’s-level degrees and programs and 16 doctoral degrees—with more in development.

The School of Nursing prepares students to enter one of the fastest-growing and most competitive health care fields in the nation. The nursing program has been the regional lifeline for more than 30 years, producing highly recruited health care professionals who are readily placed in facilities across El Paso and the country. The school is among the top Hispanic-serving nursing schools in the nation.

University College unites some of the most innovative programs at UTEP, including the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies, Master of Public Administration, Master of Leadership Studies, Master of Science in Intelligence and National Security Studies, the Law School Preparation Institute and the Institute for Policy and Economic Development.
