UTEP's museums and galleries showcase some of the most acclaimed exhibits on the border - and beyond. Creativity comes alive within the walls of our spaces, supporting and exhibiting the art of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

• The Centennial Museum exhibits the natural/cultural history of the Chihuahuan desert region and features the Chihuahuan Desert Gardens with 600 plant species. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Closed some holidays.

• The Glass Gallery frequently exhibits contemporary works by art students. Hours: Vary.

• The Stanlee and Gerald Rubin Center for the Visual Arts houses three galleries that feature highly acclaimed national and international contemporary artists. Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; until 7 p.m. Thursday; and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.

• The UTEP Library houses unique collections of literature, art and historic documents.
